Hotel guest throws tantrum at reception after finding out the breakfast buffet opened 15 minutes earlier than usual: ‘That is unacceptable’ – FAIL Blog

Hot take: Hotels’ breakfast buffets should be open all day long, with a rule that each guest can come in once a day, whenever they want.

If I want to have my breakfast at 1:00 pm, because I am on vacation, I should be able to, don’t you think? And if someone has a flight back early in the morning, they shouldn’t be forced to skip breakfast and miss the best part of staying in a hotel. Realistically, I know that this request is not possible, and that it would end up being quite a chaotic space if the buffet were open 24/7, but a girl can dream.

That being said, when I inevitably oversleep and wake up 5 minutes before breakfast is supposed to be over, and I run to the buffet with my pajamas so that I can stuff my face with as many pancakes as possible, I am always delighted if the buffet ends up staying open overtime.

Which is why the complaints of the hotel guest in the story below simply baffle me. Why do they care if breakfast started earlier than expected?

Well, keep scrolling to find out exactly why.
